Fast and Festive: Frida’s 5-Minute Pawtrait Story

PAWTRAIT of the month: FRIDA

Say Hi to FRIDA! She’s being voted PAWTRAIT OF THE MONTH (September 2024)  on instagram. I painted FRIDA during the South Bristol Arts Trail. It was a fabulous day, glorious sun shining above, but the business was unusually slow. I mean really slow. I barely made 3 portraits before 2pm.

Not long after lunch hour, came a few young people. One of them took out a picture of FRIDA, exactly with this beanie on. She requested to draw the festive beanie too as it is for someone's Christmas pressie. Of course! I was so glad to do it. In fact I did it at a lightning speed. It happens when I am overly stimulated.

I completed the drawing in approx 5 minutes! (It took another 5 to dry) This happy customer also ordered one more PAWTRAIT for another family member, “Christmas sorted” she said with a grin on her face holding 2 pieces of PAWTRAITs in her arm.
